Toothbrushing tip #2: Start young. We started brushing Peaches' teeth when she was only a few weeks old. Prior to your baby's first tooth, you can use a moist washcloth to massage the gums. This will get you and your baby started with good habits early on.

First Visit by First Birthday!
The ADA and AAPD recommend seeing a pediatric dentist by age 1 or when the first tooth appears. Baby teeth are just as important as adult teeth. Most visits for infants are completed in the "knee-to-knee" position shown below. Check out some of our great patients at their first visits!
