Dr. Haeman NoorI - Oral Surgeon

Bio

After spending his early childhood in Charlottesville, Virginia, Dr. Noori grew up in central Massachusetts in a small suburb of Worcester and graduated from the Massachusetts Academy of Mathematics & Sciences as his class valedictorian at St. John’s High School.   He then went on to college at MIT and Cornell, ultimately graduating from Cornell with distinction in all subjects and an A.B. in History and minor in Psychology.  It was while there that his interest in healthcare truly began and he spent considerable time working at a national, non-profit public health organization that exposed him to many amazing individuals devoting their careers to selflessly tackling initiatives aimed at improving the lives of many.

Upon graduation, he entered medical school but then later changed career paths and entered the private sector.  His love for health care, however, eventually reclaimed his attention and after completing a year as a research fellow at Duke University  he came to appreciate the field of dental medicine and then graduated from the prestigious University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.  Dr. Noori most appreciated being able to witness his Tarheels win a national title in basketball during his tenure there but he also discovered his passion for Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and had the privilege to develop some early mentorships and experiences while a dental student.  After beginning his residency in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at UNC, he transferred to Indiana University in Indianapolis where he completed his certificate.  While there, he obtained a full-scope training with a strong emphasis on maxillofacial trauma and reconstructive surgery, oral pathology, orthognathic surgery, anesthesia, dentoalveolar surgery and implantology in addition to completing nearly a year of a general surgery internship.  Later, as a chief resident, he helped cover facial surgery cases at the two busiest Level I trauma centers in the state as well as one of the nation’s largest children’s hospitals.  He also served as a district representative of the national resident organization and developed a keen awareness of important policies affecting oral health.

Dr. Noori has successfully completed the rigorous, multi-year examination process required to become certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and is proud to have achieved the status of Diplomate and is a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.  He is currently on staff at Presbyterian-St. Luke’s hospital and actively gaining privileges at Lutheran Hospital and the CU School of Dental Medicine.

Dr. Noori prides himself on constantly immersing himself and his staff in continuing education and attends numerous seminars, study clubs, and national conferences to stay abreast of the most current research and techniques in the field.  He has a special interest in dental implantology and bone and soft tissue grafting along with the treatment and reconstruction of victims of facial trauma.   As the child of two university professors, he has had a passion for teaching since a young age and genuinely enjoys educating his patients about their treatment options and surgical care.

Dr. Noori’s wife is a public health general dentist and the two of them have fallen in love with Colorado. They have a young son and are looking forward to raising their family here and continuing to integrate themselves into the community. Dr. Noori is a die-hard sports fan and enjoys exercising, reading, writing, and exploring local coffee shops.
